Hey I'm, Swaroop John

I come from a multi-disciplinary design background with a master's in Human-Computer Interaction from Indiana University (2020) and a bachelor's in Animation Design.

I started my career as a graphic/UI designer and eventually ventured into UX. I found my passion for conversing with people to understand their needs to design meaningful experiences.

From there, I gained 3+ years of professional work experience in UX.

• Designing the EcoStar app for Starbucks to guide store employees to best recycling practices in over 16000+ stores across the U.S and Canada
• Working With Dr. Davide Bolchini as UX Research Assistant to create an accessible prototype for blind and visually impaired to type words without relying on digital screens
• Also, working with Dr. Andrew Miller as UX research Assistant to Examine ways to improve parents' communication during the hospitalization of their child with pediatric cancer

• Playing multiplayer games like Tekken, NBA2k, Mortal Kombat, and the list goes on
• Occasional photographer
• Huge NBA fan, rooting for Lakers!!!
• Binge on Netflix
• Dancing professionally and actively competing in Hip Hop scene for over five years
